About this work

UX strategy and discovery for a suite of platforms serving mechanics, engineers, and executives

Led UX strategy, facilitation, and design for a suite of platforms built for Boeing, serving field mechanics managing aircraft maintenance, engineers tracking systems and structural data, and executives overseeing fleet ownership and asset decisions. Each user group had fundamentally different workflows, technical fluency, and goals.

Multi-day workshops captured how each group operated, what they needed, and where existing processes broke down. That research drove the information architecture and interaction design for each platform, producing wireframe flows and high-fidelity prototypes built in Sketch.

Captured workflows, pain points, and process gaps across mechanics, engineers, and executives. Findings informed the information architecture and interaction design for each platform.

Designed high-fidelity app flows in Sketch covering full interaction models for each platform across the suite, ready for stakeholder review and handoff.

Workshop artifacts and wireframe progression

The images below capture the discovery and wireframing phase of this work. Each workshop session produced documented requirements, workflow maps, and pain points gathered directly from mechanics, engineers, and executives. That documentation drove every design decision that followed. Wireframes were built from the research, refined through multiple rounds of iteration with stakeholders, and developed into complete numbered user flows that were then built out as high-fidelity app flows in Sketch.
